As we reported few days back, multiplexes released Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to celebrate birthday of Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on 2nd November and 3rd November. One can not expect much with such a gesture in terms of collections but surprise surprise!
After 27 years of release, innumerable viewing on satellite and availability on digital platform still film managed to collect. Film ran to HOUSEFULL shows all over from south to north and east to west. One wonders if it was usual release for a week then things could had been even bigger.
Film collected 23.45 lacs nett on 2nd November which is bigger than lot of big films’ 3rd Friday and despite fewer shows today, film collected again almost capacity numbers.

Tickets sold – 25000
Film again did well today and should add 13-14 lac nett which means two day collections close to 40 lacs nett which is commendable. This number achieved despite ticket price was 100-112.
Super stardom of SRK almost peaked with this film in 1995 and one can wish that it might be back to same with release of Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. A rare year which will see three massive releases from King Khan.
