Alia Bhatt had one of the biggest debuts in Bollywood. She was launched by none other than Karan Johar in the 2012 film Student of the Year. The biggest opener of Alia Bhatt’s career was Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva with a 36 cr net collection. The long-delayed project, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, went on to become a major critical and commercial success. The Film Had A Good Opening Collection
The year 2023 has been more or less shaky for Bollywood except for Pathaan, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani received a 25%-30% occupancy on 3,482 screens across the country. It performed well on national chains as compared to non-national chains; 60-62% of the total gross came from national chains. On its opening day, the film has minted 11.50 cr net which is a great start for a film of this size. It is expected to gross a total of around 45 cr net during the weekend. With positive word of mouth, and the star presence of Ranveer and Alia, the film is expected to go well at the box office.
