Veer Zaara Re-Release Witnessses Exceptional Performance On 2nd Friday
During its re-release last week, Veer-Zaara earned a remarkable Rs 1.80 crore in total. Despite the competition from new releases and other popular films, it has managed to attract a significant number of viewers. The film is being shown in just 203 cinemas across India.
The occasion of National Cinema Day on September 20 (2nd Friday) also played a crucial role in boosting ticket sales. With tickets priced at just Rs 99, many fans seized the opportunity to watch or revisit this beloved classic.
The box office numbers for the second week of the re-release have been impressive. The earnings have outperformed not only the first Friday but also the Monday to Thursday figures.
On the second Friday of its re-release, the film grossed Rs 22 lakhs. In its first week, Veer-Zaara brought in Rs 1.55 crore, with daily earnings as follows: Rs 20 lakhs on Friday, Rs 32 lakhs on Saturday, Rs 38 lakhs on Sunday and impressive weekdays.
Film added 93 lacs net in 2nd week that too with 202 cinemas only. The total collection during release stands at Rs 2.48 cr.

About The Film
Veer-Zaara is a 2004 romantic drama by Yash Chopra. Shah Rukh Khan stars as Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force officer, and Preity Zinta plays Zaara Hayaat Khan, the daughter of a Pakistani politician.
Their story kicks off when Veer saves Zaara from a bus crash in India. Zaara is there to fulfil her surrogate mother’s last wish. Despite their strong bond, they are separated by circumstances, with Veer imprisoned in Pakistan on false charges.
