Tigmanshu reflected on their time filming Dil Se, highlighting a memorable incident. “He is such a humble person. I can’t even tell you,” he began.

Despite already being a major star, Shah Rukh maintained a grounded presence. During the shoot in Ladakh, there were no luxury vanity vans available for the cast and crew. Instead, they travelled in a bus.

Tigmanshu recalled how Shah Rukh would often take a nap on the bus floor during the lunch breaks. “The passage where people walk, Shah Rukh would take a nap there during lunch for 30 minutes,” he explained.

The crew had to move around the bus frequently, often stepping over him to grab jackets or other items. Yet, Shah Rukh never complained or asked for privacy. “He never objected to anything. He could have said no one can enter the bus when I am sleeping, but that never happened,” Tigmanshu noted.

His respect for the crew and his ability to remain approachable truly stood out during those shoots. “He is the star of the film. If he wants to sleep for 30 minutes, he should get that time undisturbed,” Tigmanshu added, illustrating just how modest Shah Rukh was despite his fame.
