The love and praise for Bastar: The Naxal Story have continued to pour in ever since it hit cinemas. The film has opened with decent reviews and response from the audience. While the film has had an impact on the audiences, it has also moved the CRPF officers.
Bastar The Naxal Story Grew Marginally Over Weekend
The positive response to the film has contributed to its growth at the ticket window, and carrying the positive word of mouth on the second day, the film has registered a slim growth in collections in comparison with the first day.
Word of mouth has definitely come into play for the film, and the audiences have welcomed it with open arms but only selected section of audience. The collections and the number of footfalls are definitely growing, and the film will register another growth on Day 3rd, Sunday.
Film collected 40 lacs nett on day one followed by 75 lacs nett on day two. Film will cross 90 lacs – 1 crore nett on day three taking its weekend total to 2.10 – 2.25 crore nett. Film will fail to cross 7-8 crore nett lifetime which is way below par.
