His film venture with a young heartthrob—who had been ruling hearts and box office charts alike— unexpectedly tanked last year. And guess what? Not even the OTT platforms are biting. Ouch!
But wait, there’s more. This duo had the town talking with their three-film deal, promising to set the silver screen on fire. The second in line is a multi starrer affair that’s got everyone’s attention. It’s the talk of the town and has box office pundits playing the guessing game about its fate.
Now, hold onto your seats because the third film was supposed to be the charm. With a new storyline, senior director, a contemporary leading lady, and a seasoned actor who’s seen it all, this one had ‘blockbuster’ written all over it. Rumor has it, the title might even be a throwback to a ’90s hit that had us all grooving back in the day.
But here’s the twist in the tale: the cameras have stopped rolling. The buzz is that the lackluster performance of their first film has put the brakes on this dream project. The project is already 60% completed and shoot was going on till October end. But now producer is waiting for result of his next biggie so that he can take a punt on this venture.
