Boman Irani‘s The Mehta Boys will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting February 7. Irani, who is also the director and co-writer, worked with Oscar-winning writer Alex Dinelaris to create a story about the relationship between a father and son.
The film is produced by Irani Movietone LLP and Chalkboard Entertainment LLP, with producers including Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani, and Shujaat Saudagar. The main cast includes Irani, Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup.
Boman Irani Shares Update On The Mehta Boys Release
Prime Video & Boman Irani announced the release on Instagram on January 23. Sharing a poster, he wrote, “48 hours 2 people 1 epic story #TheMehtaBoysOnPrime, Feb 7.”

The film will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with subtitles in various languages.
For those unaware, The Mehta Boys premiered at the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival on September 20, 2024. Irani won Best Actor Male at the International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) Toronto Film Festival for his role. He also received the South Asian Film Association (SAFA) award at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.
