EXCLUSIVE: Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Trailer Is A Winner With Right Combo Of Fun, Drama And Romance

Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of this year. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead, the film marks Karan’s return to the director’s chair after nearly seven years. The trailer of the film promises a fun and larger-than-life story in the realm of Kjo’s. The glimpses show the character of Rocky (played by Ranveer) comes from a rich family who owns a mansion.

The trailer was shown to several media people and it will be officially launched tomorrow, 4 July. Alia plays the role of Rani who is a Bengali girl coming from a well-educated but comparatively smaller family. Taking cues from the off-screen Ranveer, Karan has created the character of Rocky who, in the trailer, says “main is baar vote nahi dunga kyunki Bigg Boss ki Shamita is baar nahi hai.”

Also Jaya Bachchan says,”Dekhte Hain Ye Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani kaise banti hai”.

Medley Of Romance And Family Is The Crux Of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

Ranveer masterfully plays the role of a typical Punjabi munda from a rich family and delivers some really funny punchlines in the film. The trailer starts with Rocky’s car getting hit by Rani’s car and they get into a fight.

Jaya Bachchan, who has so far only played loving motherly figures in Karan Johar’s films, plays a negative character in the film. She plans to sabotage the love story of Rocky and Rani. The trailer has a nice combo of romance, drama, and humor and it will surely generate more anticipation in the audience.
