Priyanka Chopra has achieved tremendous success in Hollywood. She has starred in multiple million-dollar films and shows in the United States after taking a step back from Bollywood. But people were delighted to know that she will be starring in Farhan Akhtar‘s upcoming directorial venture, Jee Le Zaraa.
However, there is bad news for all the fans of Priyanka who were hoping to see her in the film. Out of the blue, Priyanka has reportedly walked out of the Alia Bhatt-Katrina Kaif starrer. This development has taken place right when the pre-work of the film was about to begin.
After the major success of her Amazon Prime series Citadel, the OTT platform has decided to renew it for a second season despite the show receiving mixed reviews. Priyanka could only choose one of the projects because their shooting will commence around the same time. So she made her choice and walked out of the road trip movie. Priyanka will shoot the series later this year as the makers are planning to release it by the end of 2024.

The Fate Of Jee Le Zaraa
In 2021, Farhan Akhtar announced that he will be donning the director’s cap after over 12 years with Jee Le Zaraa. The film would star Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif and it will be written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Since then, the film has been on the back burner as it continues to get pushed further every year for some reason. Meanwhile, Farhan has also decided to focus on his acting and on Don 3. He might jump into the project after finishing Don 3.
