People love Anees Bazmee directorial movies like No Entry, Welcome, Sing is King, Thank You for entertainment and comedy. Another film has been decided by Bazmee, Zee Studios and Echelon Productions.
“We are happy to partner with Anees. It’s the concept that appealed instantly and I am excited to bring this story to audiences. I am sure his expertise in making massy entertaining films and Zee Studios’ strong distribution network will put forth a successful association,” Shariq Patel, CBO, Zee studios stated as per Bollywood Hungama.
Bazmee said, “After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, I want to give our audiences an even bigger dose of entertainment, and this time it will be a larger-than-life action comedy. I am very happy to team up with Zee Studios, Vishal Rana and Rohini Vakil for this project. This film will be something that the Indian audiences have never seen before, and I am very excited about it.”
The untitled film is set to release in 2023. As per our sources, it has become Sidharth Malhotra Vs Ranveer to be chosen as a lead role. Sidharth is busy in Yodha shooting, whereas Ranveer starrer Cikus is set to release on December 23. Many fans of Sidharth were upset over Ranveer receiving Best Actor Award at the recent Filmfare event for 83 and Sidharth was denied well deserved win for Shershaah. It will be interesting to see who will be picked for an action-comedy film.
Though it’s early days but as this is biggest film for all producers involved, casting might be a tough nut to crack.
