On Sunday the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards was held in New York. Following the coronavirus norms, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosted the show virtually.
While actress Jane Fonda received the Cecil B. DeMille Award, Norman Lear was honored with the Carol Burnett Award.
The majority of the awards including Best Television Series – Drama, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, were bagged by Netflix’s show The Crown.
However, Pop TV’s Schitt’s Creek wasn’t behind, it received a lot of appreciation. Minari won Best Foreign Film. Chadwick Boseman won Best Actor for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, posthumously as his wife Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award.
