Pankaj Tripathi undoubtedly showed us the face of success, the actor made us believe in many roles through his rooted acting skills and talent. If we look back to his career graph we can see some immensely successful projects given by the actor.

While we talk about Pankaj’s previous projects we have also observed that the actor is doing quite similar roles. Be it in Gangs Of Wasseypur or Mirzapur series, one can find huge similarities between his characters.

Pankaj carries forward his evil character in the second season of the gangster drama series Mirzapur. Although people liked the series, they were also missing the flavour of the first season. Probably because Pankaj Tripathi, whose acting makes us all fall in love with his characters had nothing new to offer us. His predictable performance made us all sad.

Even though Pankaj is considered as the best actor out of the current lot, his formulaic characters make him no better these days. The North Indian traits to his characters are now done to death. As they say, change is the only constant, and those who don’t follow change are left behind the crowd.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was once ruling the industry with his immense performances is losing his charm because of his predictable character choices and actions. And now, Tripathi has been walking on the same path.

Pankaj should definitely come out of his comfort zone and try some different roles. An affluent businessman from south Delhi/Mumbai rather than from UP and Gurgaon could be his next choice. As an actor he should prove his excellence with versatility.

It would be interesting to see him playing roles like CEO of a company in Bangalore in a three-piece suit, speaking English like a pro instead of the same roles wherein he’s seen abusing. Probably a clean shave look with sophisticated character can bring him out of his comfort zone.
