Emraan Hashmi recently reached Srinagar to attend a special red carpet screening. It’s the first such event in the city in 38 years. The screening is a tribute to the BSF personnel.

The team decided to premiere the film in Srinagar to honour soldiers and BSF personnel posted there. They wanted to show the story first to the people who live the reality it reflects.

Emraan shared a selfie with director Tejas Deoskar and wrote, “Touchdown… landmark day: first Red carpet movie screening after 38 years in #Srinagar. This is a special movie screening to honour BSF soldiers and their officers.”

BSF soldiers and officers will attend the event as guests of honour. This gesture reflects the soul of the film, which focuses on courage, sacrifice and loyalty.

About The Film

In Ground Zero, Emraan plays Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. His character leads a long investigation tied to the BSF’s most daring mission in the past 50 years. The story unfolds in Kashmir, highlighting the emotional toll that duty brings.

The entire shoot took place in Kashmir. The film shows the rough terrain and high-tension atmosphere of the region. It also revisits a lesser-known story in Indian history – the operation against Ghazi Baba, who was linked to the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.

Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has produced this much-awaited release set to hit theatres on April 25.
