Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set to collaborate on an exciting new project. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt teased fans with a cryptic Instagram post & called it the ‘greatest rivalry’. She promised more details on Wednesday (March 12).
A Big Reveal On Aamir Khan And Ranbir Kapoor’s Collab Tomorrow
In the video shared, Alia held up a poster featuring Aamir and Ranbir with text “ultimate blockbuster.” She wrote, “A battle of the best! Two of my favorite actors are against each other. Stay tuned for something very, very exciting… More deets are coming tomorrow. P.S. I know you’re going to love it as much as I did!!”
The post included “#Ad,” sparking speculation about whether it’s a film or a brand campaign. Fans flooded the comments with excitement.
One wrote, “Legends collaborating.” Another said, “Omg, I just can’t wait.” A fan also praised Alia, “Ranbir is so lucky his wife is his biggest cheerleader.”
Nitesh Tiwari Directs This Project
The project is expected to be helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. The director previously worked with Aamir on Dangal and is currently directing Ramayana, starring Ranbir as Lord Ram.
Aamir and Ranbir have shared screen space before, but only briefly. Ranbir had a cameo in Aamir’s 2014 film PK, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. If this teaser hints at a film, it will be their first major collaboration.

Aamir, known for his perfectionist approach, was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which failed to make an impact at the box office. Since then, he has been selective about his next project.
Ranbir, on the other hand, is on a career-high. With back-to-back hits, he remains one of Bollywood’s top stars. Apart from Ramayana, he is also working on Animal Park, the sequel to Animal.
