Andaaz Apna Apna, which was released in 1994, featured Bollywood’s two biggest stars, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, on screen together. After its debut, the rom-com, which starred Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor, became an instant blockbuster at the movie office.

People still enjoy watching Salman and Aamir play the roles of Prem and Amar on screen, making the film a timeless hit. Did you know, though, that the PK actor once stated that he disliked working with Bollywood’s bhaijaan?
So, in 2013, during one of his appearances on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan, Aamir Khan revealed his tense relationship with Salman Khan. Aamir admitted that his first impression of Salman was not very nice.
During the episode of Koffee with Karan, Aamir Khan said, “In Andaz Apna Apna I had a very bad experience working with Salman Khan. I didn’t like him then. I found him rude and inconsiderate. After tasting the experience of working with him I just wanted to stay away from Salman.”
However, on the same episode of KWK, Aamir Khan revealed that Salman Khan reconnected with him in 2002, when the actor was going through a difficult period following his divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutt. Salman Khan and the Lagaan actor then patched things up and formed a true friendship, according to the Lagaan actor.

Aamir said, “Salman walked into my life when I was at my lowest. I had gone through a divorce with my wife. But later we bumped into each other and he expressed his wish to meet me. We met again and drank together and we connected. And it began as a genuine friendship and it has only grown.”
