Shanaya Kapoor is stepping into Bollywood with her debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring alongside Vikrant Massey. The film tells the story of two blind people who find a brief but deep connection, exploring the challenges of love and modern romance.
The team has just wrapped up the India portion of the shoot, filming in Mumbai, Mussoorie, and Dehradun. These picturesque locations add a special touch to the film’s emotional narrative. With the India shoot finished, the final scenes will be shot abroad. The film is set to release in 2025, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Based on Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It, the film revolves around two strangers who meet on a train. Both are blind but unaware of each other’s condition. The film will explore themes of resilience, passion, and the strength of the human spirit.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is written by Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla, with Santosh Singh directing. Mansi, who co-wrote the film, has praised the team for their passion in telling meaningful love stories.
The music, composed by Vishal Mishra, is set to enhance the emotional impact of the film. Produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla under Mini Films, the film promises to offer a fresh take on romance.
Before Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya already signed on for a South Indian film called Vrushabha, which will feature superstar Mohanlal as lead.
