Aayush Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut with Loveyatri in 2018, is set to star in Antim: The Final Truth, which will be a career-defining film for him. Aayush accepts the tremendous challenge of going against his brother-in-law Salman Khan in Antim, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
Recently, while talking about the pressure of being next to Salman Khan on the big screen, Aayush told India Today, “He is a superstar and you have to know that the eyeballs will be on him. When he’s in the frame, no one really looks anywhere else. I remember me and Varun Dhawan were having a good laugh after our song Vignaharta. I said the minute Salman bhai walks into the frame, it becomes a one-sided conversation. All our dancing is on one side and his walk is on the other side. My challenge was how do I hold my own? How do I look like I am justified in the same frame as him? I realised the answer to this was that you have to quit trying and just play your character. He’s had over 30 years of hard work to be where he is today. I don’t even have half of that, so I have to be realistic. Also, a lot of people would tell me I try to act and look like Salman so this was my chance to prove them wrong by being in a role that’s totally opposite of his.”
On November 26th, the film will be released. Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma, and Mahima Makwana star in the film. ‘Antim: The Final Truth,’ directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, produced by Salma Khan, and presented by Salman Khan Films.
