The rage of Prashanth Neel’s directorial Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, is making waves on OTT. The film has been trending on Disney+ Hotstar for 300+ days, which speaks volumes about the audience’s love for it.

The film has been in top 10. It is remarkable to see the film still ruling the OTT space long after its release. This is indeed the biggest achievement of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, as it has been trending on OTT for almost a year. Such madness for a film is something very rare to witness.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire broke records with its Hindi TV premiere, attracting an incredible 30 million viewers. After grossing over ₹700 crore at the box office and maintaining its position as one of the top trending films on OTT for over 200 days, Salaar continued to make waves with its satellite release as well.

The world of Khansaar has fascinated global audiences and they are all raving about it. The film leaves the masses with a surprise that sets the stage right for the sequel Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam all set for its release in 2026.

Prabhas’ Work Front

Prabhas has a packed lineup of projects. His war drama Fauji is scheduled to release in late 2025. Fans are also looking forward to Salaar 2, the sequel to his 2023 hit. Alongside this, he will star in Spirit, an ambitious project by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and make a special cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa.

Though his absence from the Japan premiere is disappointing, Prabhas’ fans are eager to see him shine in his upcoming roles.
