Utkarsh Sharma is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Vanvaas. He recently visited the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. The actor participated in the sacred Bhasma Aarti as he was there to promote the film.
Utkarsh Sharma Performs Bhasma Aarti At Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple
The ceremony took place at around 4 am in the temple’s Sabha Mandap, where Utkarsh observed the divine Aarti and later offered prayers to Lord Mahakal from the entrance. Expressing gratitude for the experience, he praised the arrangements made by the temple authorities and the Madhya Pradesh government.

Sharing his thoughts, Utkarsh said, “The arrangements made by the Temple Committee and the MP Government in Mahakaleshwar are highly commendable. Devotees are able to have darshan here easily. I had a wonderful experience by visiting this temple. Everyone should see the Bhasma Aarti of Mahakal directly. You will experience a divine peace by coming to Ujjain, the city of Mahakal.”
He also spoke to ANI and said, “I am lucky to get the opportunity to visit this temple twice. I came here for the first time in 2018. Since then, the economy in this area has developed…I have watched the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ for the first time…I wish the nation moves forward.”

Utkarsh’s Work Front
Utkarsh Sharma made his debut as a child actor in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. He played the son of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the iconic film. As an adult, he took on the lead role in Genius and returned to the Gadar franchise with a pivotal role in Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.
Currently, Utkarsh is on a promotional tour for Vanvaas & has immersed himself in the cultural and spiritual essence of India. The campaign began in Banaras, continued in Delhi, and has now made its way to Ujjain. The Bhasma Aarti is known for its spiritual significance & is an important ritual at the Mahakaleshwar Temple.
For the unversed, Vanvaas is scheduled to be released on December 20. It also stars Nana Patekar and Simratt Kaur in lead roles.
