The team of Adipurush including Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are currently in Hyderabad for the film’s trailer launch. A special screening was held for fans at the AMB Cinemas. However, some of the fans have already leaked the trailer online a day prior to its grand launch event in Mumbai on May 9.
Several recorded videos of Adipurush trailer have been doing the rounds on social media. The first reactions have been quite good compared to its initial reactions. It seems like the makers have made significant changes in the VFX and fans are loving the extravaganza on the big screen.
At the trailer launch in Hyderabad, Prabhas along with Kriti and the film’s director Om Raut greeted a sea of fans at the venue. Adipurush team are now coming to Mumbai to launch the Hindi trailer at a grand event.
Leaked Trailer Shots Of Adipurush Were Shared By Fans
Earlier, Prabhas had informed fans that the new trailer of Adipurush will be out on May 9. He had shared the update by releasing new posters of his look as Lord Rama and written, “Jai Shri Ram….Trailer releasing on 9th May 2023.” Adipurush is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Ravan.
Many others shared different shots from the trailer showing Prabhas as Raghava and Devdatt Nage as Hanuman in tweets, praising the visuals. Prabhas was himself present at the screening in Hyderabad and also interacted with fans present there. Many videos from the screening showed fans screaming in the theatre and cheering for the actor after the screening.
The teaser of the film, which was released last year, saw negative comments from a large section of fans, who criticised its VFX and CGI. The makers of the film reacted to it, saying that they were delaying the release to work on the visuals and other aspects. The film is now releasing in theatres on June 16. Before that, the film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 700 crore, it is said to be the most expensive Hindi film ever made.
