He pointed to the fandom’s obsession with rewatching, debating, and catching “quiet detail,” saying the film’s journey moved from belonging to the team to belonging to audiences, and then beyond.

He added that when the team began work on Dhurandhar: The Revenge, their goal was to surprise viewers and take them somewhere emotionally unprepared. “So when we sat down to make Dhurandhar The Revenge, we knew one thing with absolute certainty: we had to surprise you. We had to make you feel emotions you weren’t prepared for. Deeply. Honestly,” he wrote.
