Sara Ali Khan Shines In New Song Julia From Ae Watan Mere Watan
The makers of Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film have dropped a new track from the film. Titled Julia, the song has been crooned by Divya Kumar and Shashi Suman. Starring Sara, the song transports us to another era. The music of Julia is peppy enough to instantly get you grooving. Sara rocks the retro look and the vibe of the track will make you take notice of it.
Karan Johar took to his official Instagram account and shared Ae Watan Mere Watan‘s song Julia, starring Sara Ali Khan. “Get ready to groove, Julia’s tunes make you move! Song out now (sic),” KJo captioned his social media post. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Prashant Ingole while the music is composed by Shashi Suman.

About Ae Watan Mere Watan
As far as Ae Watan Mere Watan is concerned, the film is directed by Kannan Iyer. The filmmaker has co-written the story with Darab Farooqui. On the other hand, the Sara Ali Khan-starrer has been backed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.
For the uninitiated, Ae Watan Mere Watan is a biographical drama that is based on the life of Usha Mehta, who fought for India’s freedom in 1942. The film is set against the backdrop of the Quit India Movement in 1942. Apart from Sara, the film’s star cast includes Anand Tiwari, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Nell, and Benedict Garrett. Emraan Hashmi has a special appearance in the movie.
Sara Ali Khan Speaks About Ae Watan Mere Watan
Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Sara Ali Khan spoke about the film and her character in Ae Watan Mere Watan. She said, “In our film, there is a part where we call her a gumnaam nayak, an anonymous fighter, because we don’t know her. She sacrificed so much and you don’t know who she is; that stands, according to me, as a huge tale of sacrifice, strength, and bravery.”
