Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer, Fighter, has marked a notable journey, completing two and a half months in cinemas. While the film didn’t attain blockbuster status, its performance proved commendable, grossing a lifetime collection of Rs 337 crore worldwide.
Despite its above-average run in theatres, Fighter has found new vigour after its recent debut on Netflix last month, on March 21st. The film’s transition to the streaming platform has catapulted its popularity, securing it a prime position in India for three consecutive weeks. Notably, it has also clinched the third spot among the top non-English films globally on Netflix, marking another feather in its cap.
For those unfamiliar, Fighter emerged as the most anticipated release of 2024, subsequently becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year thus far. The film’s makers proudly shared these accomplishments via social media, celebrating the movie’s journey and its resonance with audiences both domestically and internationally.

Fighter Box Office
The action-packed extravaganza Fighter performed well at the box office. Fighter made Rs 4.60 crore on its opening day. As the weekend unfolded, the movie continued to draw crowds, culminating in a total of Rs 115.30 crore by the end of its opening weekend.
The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within its first week, tallying up to Rs 139.50 crore Audiences continued to flock to theatres, driving the film’s earnings to Rs 177.10 crore by the end of the second week.
It maintained the hold and by the end of the fifth week, the film had amassed Rs199.45 crore in India alone, marking its lifetime collection.
Breaking down the Indian box office figures, Fighter garnered a nett collection of Rs 99.45 crore and a gross collection of Rs 237.44 crore, showcasing its immense popularity among domestic audiences.
Fighter made overseas gross earnings of Rs 99.76 crore. When considering worldwide collections, including both domestic and international markets, the film soared to Rs 337.2 million.
