After Varun Dhawan‘s Bhediya 2 moved away from the August 15 release date, Box Office Worldwide has now exclusively learned that Kartik Aaryan‘s Naagzilla has also been postponed from the lucrative Independence Day weekend.
This opens up a massive opportunity for other big-ticket releases eyeing the patriotic holiday weekend.
Love And War Eyes August 15?
With both Bhediya 2 and Naagzilla vacating the August 15 slot, Love And War can now potentially claim the coveted Independence Day release date. The film has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and the holiday weekend could provide the perfect launchpad.
However, if Love And War does opt for August 15, it won’t have a solo run. The film will have to face Prabhas’ Fauji on the same weekend, setting up what could be one of the biggest box office clashes of 2026.
