The much-anticipated debut of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Netflix on June 6, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, has not lived up to expectations. Despite its disappointing box office performance, there was optimism that the OTT release might perform better.
However, the response on the streaming platform has been equally underwhelming. Many viewers haven’t even bothered to watch the film, let alone give it a negative review. It seems the digital audience has largely ignored the movie.
After Box Office Flop, It’s Another Disaster For BMCM On OTT – Here’s How
The viewership numbers paint a bleak picture, with the film trending in only one country on Netflix and in the top 10 in just 14 countries. Despite taking the second position after Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘s OTT debut, Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, has maintained its position in the top 10 in 17 countries, surpassing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Official figures will be announced soon by Netflix.
This outcome is disappointing for a film made on a massive budget of 350 crores. With just 60 crores collected theatrically in India, the film now faces a similarly embarrassing reception on OTT. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has turned into a complete disaster in every aspect, leaving those involved with the film likely wishing to forget their association with it.
Netflix Views:
Crew 2.4M (3rd Week)
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan 2.9M (1st Week)

While Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is currently topping the most viewed Indian films in its first week with 2.9 M, Crew still managed to gain 2.4 M in its third week. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘s viewership will likely reduce to a large extent by the third week, probably making it less than what Crew currently has.
