Directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts, and Brat Films, Shehzada stars Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and others. It was supposed to hit the big screen on February 10, 2023 and now it’s scheduled to release on February 17, 2023
The latest bollywood news is that the film has recovered 76% of its budget, with 65 crores from music rights and satellite rights being placed at 10 crore each. Netflix reportedly acquired OTT rights for 40 crore and overseas rights at 5 cr.
It is made on a budget of 85 cr as per reports, with 65 crore as production cost, including a publicity/advertising cost of 20 crores. The makers require 40 crores to break even. It is important to note that Kartik had to become a producer to save the film from stalling it and the financial crisis.

Kartik saved his previous “Freddy” by releasing it on OTT instead of theatrical release.
