Some right-wing members and Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra reportedly said that Deepika’s costume being used in Besharam Rang from Pathaan should be corrected or deleted. He reportedly theatened to ban the film in the state. Protests erupted in Indore against the film and burnt the effigy of SRK.
After Prakash Raj, Baahubali Producer Shobu Yarlagadda, Swara Bhaskar slamming them, the latest bollywood news is that BJP MLA Ram Kadam, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Ayodha Mahant came out opposing the film and its song, asking for “boycott” and “burning the theatres”.
“I appeal to people to set those theatres on fire where Pathaan will be screened. Bollywood and Hollywood constantly try to find ways to make fun of Sanatan Dharma and insult Hindu Gods and Goddesses. In the Pathaan movie, Deepika Padukone wore a bikini which hurt the religious sentiments of saints and of the entire country. Shahrukh Khan constantly makes fun of Sanatan Dharma. What was the need to wear a saffron bikini and perform such steps in the song?” stated the Ayodha Mahant.
While asking for a ban on the movie, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said, “Can a Pathan who believes in Islam film such scenes with a woman with Muslim symbols!! There is a limit to the absurdity of love jihadis!!
He also shared a video and said, “Calling saffron shameless, what a bold scene to show a Hindu woman wearing a saffron dress and becoming a puppet of Islamic Jihadis? There is a limit to treason too! Hindu society will no longer be able to tolerate these brothers and tukde tukde gang who tarnish Bollywood by defaming it.”
BJP MLA Ram Kadam stated, “Pathaan, Many sadhus, saints, mahatma of the country including many Hindu organizations and crores of people are strongly opposing this film on social media. At present there is a government with Hindutva ideology in Maharashtra. Film producer and director should better address these objectionable moments in front of those saints. Whatever is being said, state your stand clearly on that. But it is certain that be it any film or serial that insults Hindutva on the land of Maharashtra will not be tolerated. Is this the audacity of intentionally hurting the ideology of JNU holders or Zaneu Dhari? Long live Rama).”

Meanwhile, Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023, which is full of drama and action which is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone in lead roles and will have John Abraham as antagonist.
