Sidharth Malhotra’s career has been transformed with the Vikram Batra biopic Shershaah. Since his debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year in 2012, his flawless portrayal as a 1999 Kargil war martyr in the Vishnuvardhan film has garnered him the acclaim he has been seeking.
Shershaah’s acclaim has catapulted him back into the spotlight, and his career is anticipated to soar like never before. We now know that Sidharth Malhotra will continue his post-Shershaah path by working with Karan Johar once more.
Sidharth is currently working on a Dharma Productions aerial action film. The yet-to-be-titled movie will reportedly be shot on a massive scale and will feature Malhotra in a never-before-seen action role. This film is supposed to be directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre in collaboration.
With this film, Pushkar and Sagar make their directorial debut as a director duo. While the plot and other elements are yet undisclosed, a source close to Bollywood Hungama said Pushkar and Sagar have been working on the project for about a year and have already completed the recce. The project is set to begin shooting in November of this year.
This yet-to-be-titled action drama will be shot on a huge scale and will have breathtaking and dramatic sights for viewers to enjoy. With this Sidharth Malhotra-starrer that would genuinely be a big-screen theatrical experience, Dharma Productions is reported to be stepping into the large-scale action movie arena.
After SOTY, Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Brothers (2015), Kapoor & Sons (2016), Baar Baar Dekho (2016), Ittefaq (2017), and Shershaah, this will be Sidharth’s seventh film with Dharma Productions.
