Vicky Kaushal has been surprising us and giving us a brief look of his preparation for his next big part – The Immortal Ashwatthama – over the last few months. The actor has been training hard at the gym, bulking up his frame and even mastering archery and horseback riding in preparation for this superhero movie with a mythological twist.
The Vicky Kaushal-led film The Immortal Ashwatthama is said to have been put on hold. After Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky and Aditya Dhar were slated to reconnect for this film. The project had to be halted due to the coronavirus outbreak and budget concerns. Vicky and Aditya have yet to make an official announcement on the subject.
Ashwatthama has remained one of Bollywood’s most awaited films. Aditya Dhar, who directed Vicky and his wife Yami Gautam in Uri: The Surgical Strike, was set to direct the film. Sara Ali Khan was rumoured to have been cast opposite the actor in the film.
Vicky is now filming Mr Lele, which also stars Kiara Advani. Sardar Udham Singh, Sam Bahadur, and The Great Indian Family are also in the works for the actor.
