Mrunal Thakur was last seen in John Abraham’s Batla House, Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 and Love Sonia before that. She will next be seen in Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey. It’s a Hindi remake of the Telugu film with the same name.
Jersey’s Hindi remake is set to be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and he was the same guy who had made the original film. Shahid has earlier did the same with Kabir Singh and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Mrunal in a conversation with an online portal said, “I’m super excited to play the lead opposite Shahid in ‘Jersey’. When I saw the original film I was bowled over by its passionate emotional journey.”
She also added, “It felt like I had lived a full lifetime of experiences in those two-plus hours. So deep was the affect of the film on me that I couldn’t get it out of my heart the whole night so I immediately watched it again the next day, I can’t wait for Hindi audiences to experience a similar impact!”
