Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is taking his influence to the south with the release of a new promotional video for his upcoming film ‘Pathaan’ in serial ‘Brahmamudi’.
With only seven days remaining until the release of ‘Pathaan’, the producers are engaging in a unique way to promote the film. Star Shah Rukh Khan has been seen at various events, sports shows, and at the trailer screening at Burj Khalifa in Dubai, foregoing any media interactions. Continuing on this trend, the star is now targeting the Telugu audience by appearing in the promo for the new serial Brahmamudi.
The promo, which will be featured on Star Maa from January 24, stars Deepika Rangaraju and Srikar Krishna Kiran Kanth. In the video, SRK introduces the female lead Kavya as “a painter at heart and a responsible sister for her family” before plugging ‘Pathaan’ to the Telugu viewers.
Siddharth Anand, the director of the blockbuster movie ‘War’, is helming SRK’s Pathaan, which is said to be part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Salman Khan is reported to have a cameo in the film. The star-studded cast also includes Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia besides Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan is slated to release on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
