Now, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has started to ask questions as to why the show cost so much to make. The series, which was released earlier this year, met with mixed to negative critical response. It also failed to enter Nielsen’s top 10 list of most streamed shows of 2023 in the US. The show was made on a whopping budget of around $250 million (more than Rs 2000 crore). According to a report, “people familiar with the matter” have said that Jassy has asked for a detailed budget analysis for some of Amazon’s massive shows that failed to perform well in the past nine months.
