After The Success Of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas To Begin Shooting For Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2 From August 10 With 15-Day Schedule At RFC In Hyderabad

Salaar 2 shoot is all set to begin from August 10. Surprisingly, 20% of the film's portion was shot by Prashanth Neel during part one.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’s tremendous success paved the way for the eagerly anticipated sequel, Salaar 2: Shouryaanga Parvam. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, achieving global box office success with earnings surpassing Rs 700 Cr. It firmly established itself as one of the highest-grossing films on satellite and OTT platforms worldwide.

Following the extraordinary success of its predecessor and then another pan-India film Kalki 2898 AD, anticipation for Salaar 2: Shouryaanga Parvam has soared among fans worldwide.

Salaar 2 Shoot To Begin From August 10

Production insights from Hombale Films reveal that filming for the sequel is scheduled to commence on August 10 at Ramoji Film City. Director Prashanth Neel has already shot 20% of the sequel during the making of Salaar, utilizing a standing set at the film city.

Initially slated for a June 2024 start, the filming plans were delayed due to weather conditions and scheduling conflicts. However, with preparations now in full swing, the production team is poised to deliver another cinematic spectacle with Salaar 2: Shouryaanga Parvam.

“Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire captivated audiences with its grandeur, stellar performances, and breathtaking action sequences. The sequel, Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, promises to take the franchise to greater heights, setting the stage for another unforgettable cinematic experience,” commented a source close to the production.

Prabhas Set To Reprise His Role In Salaar Part 2

The fictional universe of Khansaar introduced in Salaar Part 1 garnered global acclaim for its immersive storytelling and larger-than-life characters. As audiences eagerly await the sequel, the film’s conclusion in Salaar Part 1 has left fans speculating about the direction of the storyline in Shouryaanga Parvam.

With Prabhas reprising his role as the film’s protagonist, expectations are high for Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam to surpass its predecessor and emerge as a landmark film in Indian cinema history.
