Hrithik Roshan kicked off 2024 with a major hit in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter and has since been deeply engaged in shooting for Yash Raj Films’ War 2. This eagerly awaited addition to the YRF Spy Universe is on track to conclude filming by September, with a grand pan-India release slated for the Independence Day weekend in 2025.

Hrithik Roshan To Team Up With Kabir Khan For His Next?
Reports from Peeping Moon suggest that Hrithik is in talks with Kabir Khan, a director known for his socially conscious commercial films.
Kabir has helmed blockbusters like Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, as well as the critically acclaimed New York with John Abraham and the sports biopic 83 starring Ranveer Singh.
“Hrithik and Kabir are discussing several ideas and have met multiple times over the past few months. Talks are at the primary stage right now, but they’re developing projects together and are hopeful that they come to fruition. Hrithik usually spends lots of time with his directors before committing to a project, so nothing can be said definitely at this moment, but things have progressed in a positive direction so far,” an industry source shared.
While the specifics of their potential collaboration are still under wraps, one of the projects being considered is a post-apocalyptic thriller. This project, apparently based on a Hollywood film for which Hrithik has already secured adaptation rights, could mark another bold move in Hrithik’s career, following his venture into aerial action with Fighter.
War 2 Actor Also Has Krrish 4 In The Pipeline
Hrithik and Kabir are attempting to collaborate again after their previous project failed to materialise seven years ago. In 2017, they were working on a high-octane action romance drama for Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, but it never took off due to undisclosed reasons. As they discuss this new venture, Hrithik also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline.
Directed by Karan Malhotra of Shamshera fame, this superhero film will be produced by Rakesh Roshan and Siddharth Anand. Although the script is complete and Malhotra has begun preparations, the shooting schedule remains uncertain.
Industry insiders suggest that Hrithik’s next film after War 2 will either be Krrish 4 or the new project with Kabir Khan. Fans are eagerly waiting to see which direction the superstar will take next.
