After Trolling Over VFX & Claim Over Script, Now Poster Of Adipurush Is Copied As Alleged By An Animation Studio, Says ‘Such A Shame, T-Series Should….’

Creator Vivek Ram from Vaanar Sena Studios stated on LinkedIn that makers have used his old artwork of “the legend of Ram”.

Om Raut directed Adipurush stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and has been reportedly made with a budget of 500 cr. The film is based on the mythological epic Ramayana, showcasing the triumph of good over evil.

It is considered to be the the mega Indian film produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner, T Series and includes heavy VFX. After the teaser was out, netizens trolled the film for wrong displacement of characters and bad visuals. It’s slated to release on January 12, 2023.

Vaanar Sena Studios posted its own Shiva poster and drew a comparison with the Adipurush poster showcasing Prabhas as Raghava and mentioned that the producers must at least put their name as source.

Creator Vivek Ram from Vaanar Sena Studios stated on LinkedIn that makers have used his old artwork of “the legend of Ram”. He said, “My artwork had become popular and many have ripped it off in the past. Something I have gotten used to. But to see it done on such a large scale was disheartening.” He called it “shameful” and a dialogue is needed for resolution.

One of the users wrote, “Hello, the original artwork on the right is by the artist @markeviv Please mention the same in your post. Let it reach the makers so that the due credit is given to this incredible artist. This is so disappointing to know!”

Another trouble that has been mounted on makers is that Ayodhya priests have demanded a ban on its release. This comes after the team launched the film’s poster on October 2 in Ayodhya. As per priest Satyendra Das, the reason behind ban is that the film allegedly gives a false account of Lord Ram, Hanuman, and Ravana, instead of as seen in the epic.
