Mili, an upcoming film starring Janhvi Kapoor, is directed by Mathukutty Xavier. It is said to be a remake of his own Malayalam film Helen, from Ritesh Shah’s screenplay. It also stars Manoj Pahwa, Sunny Kaushal.
It is set to release on November 4 and marks the first collaboration between Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. Its principal photography was held in Mumbai and Dehradun from August to November, 2021.
“Mili is directed by national award winner, Mathukutty Xavier and the team is all excited to bring it on the big screen on November 4. It’s a survival thriller and the campaign begin within the next 10 days,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
Mili faces clash with Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar starrer Phone Bhoot, which is directed by Gurmmeet Singh. It’s a 1 hour 21 min horror film set to release on November 4, 2022. With Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani as producers, Excel Entertainment has worked on its production.
We earlier broke that the film’s promotion activities will begin with a peppy song featuring Katrina, Siddhant and Ishan, instead of a teaser. It will further clash with Arjun Kapoor starrer Kuttey.
