The trailer of Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Raid 2 is coming next week. Fans are in for another thrilling ride, the action is even bigger this time.
Ajay Devgn is back as fearless Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik, ready to take on corruption once again. Raj Kumar Gupta directs the sequel, which promises intense drama, action-packed moments, and a fresh twist with Riteish Deshmukh in a key role. T-Series and Panorama Studios are producing the film.
When Is Raid 2 Trailer Dropping?
The Raid 2 trailer will release on Tuesday, April 8 with a grand launch in Mumbai. Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and the rest of the cast will be present at the event.
Fans can also catch the trailer in theatres from Thursday, April 10. It will play alongside Sunny Deol’s Jaat in cinemas. According to sources, the makers of Raid 2 requested this collaboration and Sunny Deol’s team gladly agreed.
What To Expect From The Sequel?
The first Raid film, released in 2018, was a blockbuster. It followed an honest officer who took on a corrupt politician in one of the biggest IT raids ever. This time, the story raises the stakes.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, Raid 2 introduces Riteish Deshmukh as the main villain, adding more intensity to the plot. Saurabh Shukla returns from the first film, while Vaani Kapoor joins the cast in a significant role. Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial also play key characters.
Recently, it was revealed that makers roped in Tamannaah Bhatia and Honey Singh for a special dance number. It will be used as a promotional song and won’t be attached to the film.
Raid 2 will mark its entry into theatres on May 1.
