Akshay Kumar and Tabu will soon begin filming the intense climax of Bhooth Bangla in Hyderabad. The horror comedy, directed by Priyadarshan, is on a fast track and is expected to complete shooting by mid-May.
This film mixes horror, fantasy, and comedy while exploring myths and black magic. Akshay plays a magician who challenges age-old superstitions, making it an exciting project to watch out for.
Akshay Kumar And Tabu Ready To Shoot Intense Bhooth Bangla Climax
Mid-day reports that the climax will be shot on a grand palace set at Ramoji Film City, designed by top art director Sabu Cyril. The sequence will feature the film’s main cast, including Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar.
A source revealed, “The sequence is packed with drama, mystery, and Priyadarshan’s signature humour. Akshay’s character will take on the deep-rooted belief in black magic, much like how Bhool Bhulaiyaa explored mental health and spirits.”
After the Hyderabad schedule, the team will head to London for the final shoot. They will film a song and some additional scenes before wrapping up. Since Bhooth Bangla relies heavily on VFX, Priyadarshan wants enough time for post-production before its April 2026 release.
Priyadarshan And Akshay Reunite After 15 Years
This film marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 15 years. The duo has previously delivered hits like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Garam Masala.
Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, Bhooth Bangla is more than just a horror comedy. The source added, “The film dives into India’s history with black magic, referencing ancient Vedas while debunking myths.”
