Raid 2 Gears Up For A Big Reveal
Ajay Devgn is all set to return with Raid 2, a follow-up to the 2018 hit Raid. The first film was based on a true story and became a box-office success by earning over Rs 100 crore in India. After years of research, the makers found another gripping real-life incident to continue the franchise.
The sequel is directed by Rajkumar Gupta and promises another high-stakes battle against corruption. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as an unshakable officer Amay Patnaik.
Additionally, Riteish Deshmukh joins the film as the antagonist. This marks a fresh and intense face-off between the two actors. With Raid 2 slated for release on May 1, 2025, the makers are gearing up for a grand promotional campaign.
Raid 2 Teaser To Drop Digitally & Play Alongside Sikandar In Theatre
According to a source quoted in a Pinkvilla report, the first teaser of Raid 2 will be released online by the end of next week. To maximise its reach, the teaser will also be played in theatres with Sikandar, Salman Khan’s upcoming action-drama, during its Eid 2025 release.
The same source revealed, “Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat, and Bhushan Kumar are making sure Raid 2 reaches every corner of the audience. Being a gripping hero-versus-villain story, they want to create strong anticipation from the start.”
The team has also struck a lucrative deal with multiplex owners to showcase the teaser extensively. Single-screen theatres will receive the KDM (Key Delivery Message) of the teaser, allowing them to screen it at their discretion. Audiences can experience it on the big screen starting March 30.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film revolves around a fearless young man who takes on corruption and fights for justice. The story blends intense action with emotional family dynamics, making it a complete entertainer.
The film features Salman, Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. Sikandar also marks Salman’s first collaboration with Rashmika and Murugadoss. A special song featuring Salman and Rashmika (a remix of a classic Lata Mangeshkar track) is one of the major highlights.
It is set for worldwide release on March 30.
