Akeli Trailer: Nushrratt Bharuccha Is Caught In A War-Torn Iraq In This Tight Drama-Thriller

Nushrratt Bharuccha has made a name for herself in Bollywood with her talent, sheer hard work, and consistency. She started her career in 2006 with Jai Santoshi Maa but gained fame for her role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The film catapulted her into success and since then she has starred in several interesting and successful projects. One of her upcoming films is the much-awaited Akeli.

Today, the makers dropped its highly anticipated trailer on the internet. The two-minute and 20-second trailer is gripping from the get-go as it chronicles the life of an ordinary girl caught in the extraordinary war-torn world of Iran. The film explores terrorism, isolation, ISIS, and the Indian diaspora in Iran. So far, the trailer has been well received by fans on the internet. The goosebumps-inducing trailer also shows us a glimpse of Nushrratt’s powerful performance in the film.

About Akeli

Akeli is directed by the debutant Pranay Meshram and written by Pranay Meshram, Gunjan Saxena, and Ayush Tiwari. The film stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nishant Dahiya, Rajesh Jais, Tsahi Halevi, and Amir Boutrous. It is produced by Aparna Padgaonkar, Shashant Shah, Vicky Sidana, Ninad Vaidya, and Nitin Vaidya. Akeli is slated to release theatrically on 18 August. It will clash with Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher’s sports drama Ghoomer. However, both films are fresh and very different from each other. If their content is right, then they will find their respective audiences.

Nushrratt To Star In Remake Of S S Rajamouli And Prabhas Film Chatrapathi

Nushrratt Bharuccha and Sreenivas Bellamkonda will be starring in the Hindi remake of S.S. Rajamouli and Prabhas’s super-successful film Chatrapathi. Talking about the project, Nushrratt said, “I am excited, but I also have goosebumps. This is my first Pan India action drama, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better than a film like Chatrapathi. I am so thrilled to have worked with a team of such brilliant technicians and an amazing co-star, Sreenivas.” The film is directed by V.V. Vinayak and is written by V. Vijayendra Prasad. Nushrratt was last seen in a cameo in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. She will be also seen in the sequel of her horror film Chhori.
