Over the past two decades, Akshay has done several successful comedy films. One of them is the Housefull franchise. The franchise has so far seen three installments and despite mixed reviews, they have been commercially successful.

Today, Khiladi Kumar took to his social media handles to launch the poster of Housefull 5. The much-awaited film will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It will star Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. Apart from these two, the film will also boast an ensemble of stars that will be announced gradually. Housefull will be released in the theatres on Diwali 2024.
The announcement has filled his fans with excitement as the project is sure shot going to be a laugh-out-loud comedy that will leave audiences rolling on the floor. The first two Housefull films were directed by Sajid Khan, while the third was directed by Sajid-Farhad. Farhad Samji also helmed the fourth installment.

Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Films
Akshay will be next seen in the biographical drama The Great Indian Rescue, the action comedy Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and OMG 2. He will also portray Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his debut Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
