Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Pathaan, has emerged as a box office sensation all over the world. Directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Deepika Padukone as the female lead, it is the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in India, overseas and worldwide.
The movie was premiered on television for the first time on 18th June at 8 PM on the Star Gold channel. It already created a sensation in theaters and on the OTT platform, breaking many existing records. Fans were eagerly anticipating for its television debut and as expected, Pathaan has broken all existing TRP records.

Pathaan was released 5 months back in cinemas and almost two months back on Amazon prime. It premiered on satellite on 18th June and official handle of Star Gold tweeted last night that film has again broken lot of milestones with massive 45 million reach and 15 million AMA (average minute audience).

The average minute audience (AMA) is defined as the number of individuals within a target audience who viewed a televised programme, averaged across minutes.
Lot of parameters of measuring TV programmes changed over last few years due to data misrepresentation by few organisations. That is why a fair comparison of data is not possible. Still this is massive number and speaks volume about popularity of the film.
SRK played title role in the film and John Abraham plays the antagonist in this spy thriller, with Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, and Salman Khan in significant roles. Yash Raj Films produced the film on a massive scale, and Vishal-Shekhar provided the soundtrack for this blockbuster.
