On Thursday, Akshay Kumar paid a visit to a remote village along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora region, where he donated to a school that would be named after his father Hari Om.
He took to his social media and shared the pictures as well. He captioned the pictures, “Spent a memorable day with the @bsf_india bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience… meeting the real heroes My heart is filled with nothing but respect.”

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar didn’t just paid a visit to the “bravehearts” of the Border Security Force (BSF) but also donated one crore for the construction of a school in a rural area.
According to news agency ANI, the ‘Mission Magal’ actor arrived in the area by helicopter about noon and began talking with villagers and the Border Security Force. Not only did the actor take selfies with the jawans, but he also danced with them. He also laid a wreath on the war memorial in honour of the jawans who gave their lives for the country.
The official Instagram handle of BSF shared pictures from the ceremony. They wrote, “DG BSF Sh Rakesh Asthana paid floral tributes in a solemn wreath laying ceremony to Seema Praharis who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Actor Akshay Kumar also accompanied DG BSF & paid homage to the fallen braves.”
