Akshay Kumar Breaks Silence On Hera Pheri 3 Fallout With Paresh Rawal: “Whatever Is Happening Is In Front Of You”

Akshay Kumar finally breaks his silence on Paresh Rawal’s shocking exit from Hera Pheri 3, expressing hope that things will resolve soon amidst legal drama.
The Hera Pheri Franchise in Turmoil: Akshay Kumar Breaks Silence on Paresh Rawal Exit

The Hera Pheri franchise has experienced chaos, but nothing could hurt as much as Paresh Rawal’s abrupt departure from the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3. Fans were heartbroken, and reports indicated possible legal drama brewing behind the scenes, but Akshay Kumar has now finally opened up about the situation and shared some clarity and hope.

Akshay Kumar On The Hera Pheri 3 Mess

In a recent interview, Akshay Kumar was asked about the trouble involving Hera Pheri 3 and the absence of Paresh Rawal. The iconic actor stayed optimistic but also diplomatic about the situation since he is deeply connected with the franchise from the beginning.

“Whatever is happening is happening in front of you. Keeping my fingers crossed. I hope everything goes well,” Akshay said, and continued,
“Everything will go well only. I know for sure.” (Check Out)

Although his statement sounds diplomatic, it reflects the uncertainty about the status of Hera Pheri 3 and over the ₹25 crore lawsuit that Akshay’s production company Cape Of Good Films is said by headlines to have filed against Rawal.

What Paresh Rawal Said About His Departure

Previously, Paresh Rawal confirmed that he had stepped away from Hera Pheri 3, saying…

“We three make a wonderful combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I stepped away because today I do not feel like a part of it.”

He was clear that it was not because of creative differences or financial issues, but simply his own choice:

“There were no creative differences, and there is no possibility of having any with Priyadarshan. No amount of money is greater than my audience’s love and respect.”

He also left it open a bit with the classic, “never say never”.

Akshay Kumar On Doing Four Films a Year

During the same interview, Akshay also addressed the backlash to his ongoing “slow-motion exit” from doing four films a year:

“I love it. I like to play different characters — and why not? Some people are unhappy with me doing four films a year but I do not see a reason why I should not. If I am getting work, I do it.”

He further insisted on how much he enjoys storytelling and the act of creativity:

“I’m very glad that I had the opportunity to tell the story of C. Sankaran Nair. Before me, there were Sky Force, Sarfira, and so many others. I always try to get as close as I can to reality.”

What’s Next For Hera Pheri 3?

The fate of Hera Pheri 3 hangs in the balance, especially with news of Paresh Rawal’s exit and the legal rumblings behind the scenes. Sources claim internal conversations are happening about salvaging the project, while Suniel Shetty remains mostly tight-lipped.

Priyadarshan, for all his loyalty to his cast, may still try to reconcile this, although creating a comeback to save the day will take more than charm.

Box Office Worldwide Verdict

When you have a comedy trio like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in crisis, fans understandably will have something to worry about.

Even Akshay’s calm and hopeful presence shines some light at the end of this chaotic tunnel, but unless the fence talk happens quickly, Hera Pheri 3 will have the risk of being more drama off-screen than laughs on-screen.

For now, all we can do is cross our fingers with Akshay.
