The shoot of the Rohit Shetty’s much-awaited film Sooryavanshi is complete except a dance number which will also be done soon. The film’s post-production has also started. Starring Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif the film has been shot in various regions including Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Thailand.
While according to the information the makers of the film have registered a number of titles at the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA). Now while shooting the last schedule of the film in Film City Goregaon Studios in Mumbai last month, a set with the filmmaker’s production house, Rohit Shetty Picturez, had been constructed, it has the movie name ‘Veer Suryavanshi’.
This Akshay Kumar starrer Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi gets new title ‘Veer Suryavanshi’ because Vijay Galani, the producer of original Suryavanshi of Salman Khan in the ’90s refused to give away the title.
The film revolves around DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad which is played by Akshay Kumar.
Gulshan Grover, Sikander Kher, Neena Gupta, Niharica Raizada and others will also be seen n the film along with Akshay and Katrina.
Earlier the movie was supposed to release on Eid 2020 but was pushed ahead. Now the film will hit the theaters on March 27, 2020.
