Akshay Kumar has stood up for the people of Assam and Bihar amid the devastating floods. Akshay who is currently in Scotland pledged to donate Rs. 1 crore each to Bihar and Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The actor has earlier donated Rs. 25 crores to the PM-Cares Fund to help in the COVID-19 crisis.
According to the reports Akshay spoke to both state’s CM and extended his support. Reports also suggested that both the CMs reportedly expressed their gratitude and appreciated his efforts to help these states.
Akshay was featured in Forbes Highest-Paid Actor 2020 list earlier this week. The actor grabbed sixth position in the world with Rs. 362 crore earning.
Meanwhile, Akshay is with his family in the UK shooting for Bell Bottom.
