Siddharth Anand, known for blockbuster action films like Bang Bang, War, Pathaan, and Fighter, is exploring new film territories with his production house, Marflix. Anand and his wife Mamta have crafted a bold slate of ten feature films. They are now joining forces with Indian cinema’s action legend, Akshay Kumar, for an exciting new project.
Sources reveal that Anand and Kumar have been in discussions for a while about a potential collaboration. The plan is now set for an action-packed film directed by Milan Luthria.
Akshay Kumar In Siddharth Anand’s Vigilante Action Film
The source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla, “Siddharth has got together the director-writer duo of Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora to develop an action film set against the zone of a vigilante film. When the script was locked, the trio unanimously felt that Akshay Kumar is the best fit for the film and on hearing the script, Akshay also felt that this is the right film for him to associate with at this point of time”
The film promises to showcase Kumar in a never-before-seen avatar, under the direction of Luthria. “Akshay loves the action space and is always up for challenges. The Milan Luthria directorial will see him in a never seen before avatar, that does justice to the legacy created by him in action. Sid and Mamta are excited for this new collaboration with the Khiladi,” the source added.
