While the theatres are completely out of order due to the nationwide lockdown, OTT platforms are constantly trying to bring new content. Well, digital platforms are also approaching films to get onboard. While several web projects are also speeding up post-production work to release it during the lockdown.
However, director Ali Abbas Zafar, unlike others, is not in a hurry to finish the post-production of his show. Zafar is apparently working on a political drama tentatively titled Dilli with Saif Ali Khan and others.
Recently, the director was in a conversation with a tabloid where he cleared that he would rather revel in the satisfaction of a series well made than join the rat race. The series is scheduled to release the last quarter of the year and they are currently sticking to it.
The project is presently in its stage of post-production. If the show was ready they might have released it now says Zafar. He also added that post-production is a long drawn process and once the project is delivered, it has to be dubbed in nine languages. It will take at list three to four months to complete the post-production.
The show will be streaming on Amazon Prime videos.
