Maharashtra government has allowed the shooting of the films since June 7th. As soon as this news came out, the first film that went on floors was Junaid Khan’s (Aamir Khan’s son) which is being made under the Yash Raj Films Banner. The film is tentatively titled Maharaja. Other than this film, the other films that are lined up for release are Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan Prabhas’ Adipurush, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and Mohit Suri directorial Ek Villain 2.
In the month of June, Akshay Kumar will begin filming for the film ‘Raksha Bandhan.’ The film’s set is located in Mumbai’s Film City. This set is thought to come from a Mumbai chawl. Aanand L Rai has previously replicated Meerut in Film City for the film ‘Zero.’ For ‘Raksha Bandhan,’ a 40-day schedule has been set up in Filmcity.
Only 20 to 25 crew members are present on the sets of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s film ‘Maharaja,’ which is now in production. He had anticipated obtaining clearance to shoot in Biobubble as early as June 7. He had already quarantined his crew mates in such a case. He is now filming at Mumbai’s Marol Naka.
The two big films which are under Yash Raj Films, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, will be shot only after 20th June.
According to the information by officials of Bhansali Productions, the shooting of ‘Gangubai’ is going to start from June 15. For that too Junagadh’s set has been installed in Filmcity. The shoot of only 8 days is remaining. Only Gangubai and her girl gang will be present on sets.
Om Raut’s close acquaintances claim that the film was supposed to be shot in Hyderabad, but that permission has yet to be granted. As a result, the crew has opted to resume filming in Mumbai. Prabhas’ role was not to be shot in Hyderabad, even if the team had gone there. Because Saif was alone in Mumbai, the filming took place there.
