They spent yesterday, November 4th, celebrating the event together and sharing photos of it on social media. The couple was seen celebrating Kali Puja in Mumbai around Diwali. Ayan Mukerji, a close friend of theirs, also joined them. While Ranbir Kapoor wore a navy blue ensemble, Alia Bhatt looked stunning in a blue lehenga-choli.
Alia Bhatt also shared a sweet photo of herself and Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram. She is seen adoringly gazing at her beau while wrapping her arms around him. Alia Bhatt captioned the photo, “& some love Happy Diwali (sic).”
Earlier, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir Kapoor had said that he and Alia Bhatt were to get married in 2020, but then Covid-19 struck. He said, “It wouldâve been sealed had the pandemic not hit our lives. I donât want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life.”
